More Kids and Cake

Despite eating cake at every opportunity these kids still look like we don't feed them enough... that is at least according to comments of some of our Ghanian friends.

We had a combined party to celebrate both the kids' recent birthdays in a big way. They chose a "Scooby-Doo" theme and we did our best to make it happen. They had balloons, a bouncy castle, a pinata and played pin the nose on Scooby!

Jake was heard to say, "This is so cool!"

Marley Takes a Crack

Jacob looks on as his friend Marley gives her best shot at the pinata. Everyone, including Thanksgiving guests Carmen and Grace, helped to make a fairly convincing version of a wolf, if not exactly Scooby-Doo.

Shaggy was invited too

Patrick gave his best effort to appear as Shaggy for the birthday bash... Maybe not exactly like Shaggy, but more like him than the pinata looked like the real Scooby.

Special Guest Appearance

Scooby-Doo came for the birthday bash and this one looks almost like the real thing.

Being two is serious business

Tess turned 2 on Tuesday. We had a little family party and will have a big blowout for both kids before we go on home leave. The next morning, Tess declared that she wasn't going to wear diapers anymore - being 2 is serious business!

Tess is two!

The birthday girl enjoys birthday wisdom from her more experienced older brother.

Lollipop

Tess has learned that money buys ... lollipops! Here she has bought one for brother too - couldn't wait to wake him up from a nap to share.

Welcome to Wozspace!

Jeanne and Patrick have started a new photo-blog called Wozspace. We hope to get up a few photos of our glam life and family here in Ghana, but it might take us time challenged types a little while to get our act together. We are actively working on it so check back often.

*Remember you can click on the photos for a more detailed version and can post your comments

Let's be our Heroes for Halloween

We aren't sure why she adores her brother so much, but he is pretty nice to her most of the time.

Remember the shirt Jakes is wearing in this picture, because you'll see it again

Superman meets lil' "Jake"

Halloween Arrives in Ghana
Tess and Jacob dressed as their heroes for this Halloween - Jacob opted for Superman, but Tess really just wanted to be her brother. Dad made the Superman logo and muscles, and Mom took them out for a little trick-or-treating - since Halloween isn't celebrated here, this really was a trick for Mom to pull off.

Jacob Represents America

He was asked to dress up in our national costume for the 50th anniversary of his school. Seeing how he has out grown those cowboys he loved so much, we thought baseball was the next best option.

She can be quite the tomboy, but she also enjoys a variety of creams and beauty products too... Today she finally got her hands on that lipstick
