Of course, we hope as a country we will come together and elect Obama and Biden, but we all know that the election is just the start of a lot of work for all of us.
Quite literally for Jeanne in particular, because she is starting a new job Nov 4th. She'll be in Chapel Hill, NC, that day but will return here to Phoenix, AZ to help us pack up shortly afterward.
As you might have guessed we are moving to Ethiopia. We are very excited and have heard very nice things about the country. Jeanne was there for a conference years ago, and we have had a few good friends there and a few that are still there too I guess.
We will be doing our best to keep this blog updated, but forgive us for the low frequency until we get settled and figure out a bit more of an Ethiopian feel.
Hello Ethiopia
We are packing up and leaving Phoenix
Good Bye Ghana
Our time in Ghana has come to an end ...
We have left Ghana - it is sad for all of us, but life inevitably changes and we all hope for the better.
We didn't want to pull kids out of their schools and away from their friends. West Africa is where they have been nearly their whole lives, and certainly the only countries they remember living in. Ghana has become a part of us and we will miss it dearly, however we will be taking that part of it with us wherever we may end up.
We will keep this blog up and running, because in fact it seems all the more vital to keeping in touch with our friends in Ghana now. However, Internet access for us might be a bit spotty, and updates even more so, but I promise we won't abandon this, just check back or leave us a message in the comments to email us automatically.
Until then we'll see you all at the big rodeo - I mean this literally, because our next settling place will be in Wyoming for Cheyenne Frontier Days!
